4_01Yesterday Nastya started working on the role of the main character in the remake of Leonid Gaidai’s legendary soviet comedy “Kavkazskaya Plennitsa” (“Kidnapping, Caucasian Style”). The new version was started by the director and producer Maksim Voronkov who decided to make a new Nina out of Nastya.

According to the director’s idea the make-up and the costumes are in fact an exact copy of those, used in the original movie. That’s why for this role Nastya had to make herself a brunette. Nastya said that she was worrying a lot before her first shooting.

“I consider this role as one of the most difficult and responsible one. On one hand I had to be as close as possible to the original and on the other I needed to add some cherry on top because the comparison of the two heroines will be inevitable”.

The first shooting took place in Moscow at the “Mosfilm” film studio where Nastya could try herself in the image of “an athletic, intelligent and simply pretty young lady” and also get acquainted with the cast. First and foremost, she got to know a famous comic trio of Trus, Balbes and Byvaliy (Coward, Booby and Stager) In this new version they are performed by Semen Strugachev, Nikolay Dobrynin and Sergey Stepanchenko. Right after that, the production crew will move to Crimea where the most part of the shooting will take place and where Nastya will meet the famous Tovarishch Saakhov played by Gennadiy Khazanov.
